What You Need to Begin Your GCA Journey

Starting your academic journey with Global College of America (GCA) is designed to be simple, flexible, and friendly for adult learners. Before beginning your application through the AI-Assisted GCA Global Campus, having a few items ready will ensure a smooth and efficient experience.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• A valid government-issued photo ID
  Used to verify your identity and date of birth. Required for all applicants.

• Proof of high school completion or equivalent
  For undergraduate applicants. Accepted documents include a high school diploma, transcript, GED, or an internationally recognized equivalent.

• Official transcripts from previous colleges or universities
  Needed only if you are applying to a master’s or doctoral program. These help GCA evaluate possible transfer credit in accordance with academic policy.

• Foreign credential evaluation (if applicable)
  Applicants educated outside the United States must submit a credential evaluation from a NACES or AICE-member agency to verify U.S. equivalency.

• English proficiency documentation
  Required for international applicants. GCA accepts TOEFL, IELTS, or the GCA English Proficiency Exam (EPE). Partner-administered tests meeting GCA standards are also acceptable.

• Your chosen degree program
  Decide which of GCA’s fully online, Arizona-licensed programs aligns best with your goals—whether undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral.
