Quality Assurance & External Review
Quality Assurance & External Review
Global College of America (GCA) is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement across all academic and administrative operations.
As part of this commitment, Global College of America is accredited by the American Accreditation Association (AAA), an international quality assurance and accreditation organization that conducts external institutional reviews based on defined academic, organizational, and governance standards. AAA’s review process focuses on quality assurance practices, institutional accountability, and the systematic evaluation of educational processes.
AAA accreditation functions as a voluntary external quality assurance and review mechanism and is separate from state authorization and from accreditation systems recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Global College of America’s legal authority to operate and confer academic degrees in Arizona is granted through licensure by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education (AZPPSE). AAA accreditation does not replace or alter state authorization requirements.
External quality assurance and review frameworks such as AAA are commonly utilized in international and cross-border higher education contexts to support transparency, institutional development, and continuous quality enhancement. Such frameworks do not determine eligibility for U.S. federal student financial aid, guarantee credit transfer, or confer professional licensure rights, which remain subject to the independent criteria of receiving institutions, employers, or regulatory bodies.
Through its participation in external quality assurance and review processes, alongside its internal academic oversight mechanisms, Global College of America affirms its ongoing commitment to responsible governance, academic coherence, and the continuous improvement of the student learning experience.
