Global Access Scholarship

GCA enrolls students in every region of the world, and a single tuition rate in U.S. dollars does not represent the same economic burden in every country. The Global Access Scholarship adjusts tuition to the economic classification of the student’s country of legal residence. It is applied automatically at admission; there is no application, essay, or competition.

TierCountry of legal residenceTuition reductionBachelor’s (per credit)Master’s (per credit)Doctoral (per credit)
Tier 1High-income economiesNone — standard tuition$150.00$295.00$120.00
Tier 2Upper-middle-income economies, and high-income economies qualifying for the currency adjustment40%$90.00$177.00$72.00
Tier 3Lower-middle-income and low-income economies, and upper-middle-income economies qualifying for the currency adjustment60%$60.00$118.00$48.00

The reduction applies to tuition only. The application fee ($50), graduation fee ($50), estimated cost of books and materials, and optional service fees are the same for all students.

Currency adjustment

Tuition is charged in U.S. dollars, so a sharp fall in the value of a national currency raises the real cost of study even when a country’s income classification does not change. An economy whose national currency lost more than 30 percent of its value against the U.S. dollar over the three most recent calendar years for which data are published is placed one tier higher than its income classification alone would indicate. The change is measured with the official exchange rate published by the World Bank.

New Student Award

If this is your first GCA degree, the New Student Award takes a further one-time 50% off the tuition for your first course, calculated after any Global Access Scholarship reduction.

Terms

Your tier is set by your country of legal residence at admission, evidenced by a government-issued identity document or other official proof of residence, and is stated in your enrollment agreement. It stays the same for as long as your enrollment is continuous; a later reclassification never increases your tuition. Listing in this schedule determines tuition only and does not by itself establish eligibility for admission. Full terms are published in the GCA 2026 Academic Catalog (rev. 09.24.2026), section “Scholarships, Tuition Assistance, and Payment Options.”
